"The consultant diagnosed a basal cell carcinoma..."

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

The consultant diagnosed a basal cell carcinoma on right medial canthal area and very quickly arranged for this to be removed. I attended a day clinic in mid March March 2014 and the BCC was removed and a section of skin from my neck was grafted on to the area of surgery. The procedure was done under local anaesthetic and the care that I received was superb. All those involved in my care were excellent, the surgeon was brilliant. Nothing could have been better, and I really appreciate the care I received. I returned to the dressing clinic at 10.40 a week later for checks and again, the care was first class. Well done LRI.
