My cat scratched my face and, after a day of sporadic blurred vision in my eye, I was concerned that the surface of my eye may have been damaged. I initially called at a chemist's for advice, and they recommended I go to the Minor Injuries Unit (with 15 minutes until closing time, and a journey still to be made from the centre of Ely to the Hospital). I headed straight there and, with a pressing time commitment ahead of me, was concerned that it may take a while to be seen. I was processed quickly and efficiently, and seen by three members of staff, one of whom checked my eye in detail, and relayed details of minor damage to the surface to a colleague who input this in the system. The staff were polite, friendly, caring and efficient, and I was extremely happy that, within ten minutes of walking through the door, I had been assessed and issued a prescription medicine. When there was a shortage of change in the petty cash box, one colleague kindly dipped into their own pocket to ensure I was not left out of pocket. :) Thank you very much for the excellent service you provide at The PoW Minor Injuries Unit. :D
"Eye thoroughly recommend the excellent service..."
