I had an overnight stay on the delivery suite at 37 weeks pregnant due to chest pains and breathlessness. I had been unsure about whether I should go to the hospital but the reassurance and care I received from all the staff I saw really was first class. The doctors were very thorough in their investigations before ruling out anything serious, and kept me well informed as to what they were testing and why, and letting me know all the results very quickly. The midwives were fantastic. What a great team of people who demonstrated genuine care at all times. A particular thank you to the nurses who looked after me and made me feel very comfortable. You are a credit to the hospital and the NHS. I will be back at the delivery suite next week for my planned c section and have every faith that the care I will receive will once again be fantastic. I didn't see too much of the facilities but from what I did see, they are modern, clean and comfortable. Thank you very much!
