I became aware of a bruise on my left breast , previously treated for breast cancer .Both mammogram and ultrasound showed no problems . Luckily my Consultant was very thorough and diligent and did a skin punch biopsy as well, this showed secondary, radiation induced Angiosarcoma.
I had to be treated by the Leeds Sarcoma team as it was so rare , but
I literally owe my life to this wonderful Consultant and am eternally grateful to the consultant and the team of the Breast Care Services-at St Lukes'
Hospital.
