My husband suddenly found himself blind in one eye and after a check with the opticians we were sent to the eye casualty department.
We had to wait four hours to be seen as there was an emergency in front of us (could have been us so were patient) but when eventually seen were treated with care and respect.
We have had to attend a further three times and again a fairly long wait but it is a casualty department, the treatment we received again was excellent.
We are now awaiting an appointment for next week which seems to be a long time coming hope they haven't forgotten us but will prompt the eye department.
My husband was found to have very high blood pressure while there and we were sent to the A&E department where we saw the duty Medical Registrar who examined my husband and wrote to our GP for further treatment again very thorough.
