"Emergency care"

About: Bedford Hospital South Wing

With so much criticism of the NHS I wanted to leave some positive feedback on the treatment we have received.

My 2 yr old has been unfortunate enough to need treatment twice over Xmas, firstly referred by out of hours for a nasty virus and today by our GP for an abrasion to her eye.

On the first occasion, staff were so polite and friendly and despite it being busy, we were seen fairly promptly. As the symptoms were unusual, she was seen by 4 medical staff and I felt they were thorough, reassuring and patient.

Today at the eye clinic again we were seen promptly and the nurse and dr we saw were fantastic at dealing with a fractious 2 yr old, again providing reassurance and treatment.

We haven't always had such a positive view but Bedoc and rye close are fantastic.
