About: Royal Derby Hospital

I gave birth to my baby girl in Sept 2014 and I am just getting round to this review. The staff and facilities are brilliant. I had not made a birth plan I just wanted to see what happened on the day, in the end I had a water birth and spent the first few hours listening to Radio 1. The whole experience was a pleasure, which is surprising considering I had a natural birth with just gas and air.

I am 9 weeks pregnant with my second child and I am gutted that I now live in Manchester and won't be able to go back to Derby Royal. I honestly can not recommend the staff highly enough.
