As a renal patient for over 30yrs I have run the full gamut of renal services in various hospitals in the UK. Some excellent, some poor. This hospital is almost excellent. There are a few staffing levels that need to be addressed, particularly at weekends. Training the right staff for haemodialysis and peritaneal dialysis and care of transplant patients is a must on this ward, holding onto the best committed nurses, doctors, surgeons, dieticians and housekeeping, is essential.
"Overall excellent service from all the staff."
