I unfortunately was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer last year and underwent a radical hysterectomy and I am so grateful to you all!! I had a lovely anaesthetic, Thank you very much for keeping me calm and for keeping me alive all the hours in surgery! I am so Thankful to you all!
Also to all the staff in the radiotherapy department!
Also to a particular doctor for all the help you have given me through this awful time!!
Also to the gynae oncology team, one person in particular!
Also the lovely receptionists in the oncology outpatients!
Yes when I go there I invariably have to wait a long time but I put it in perspective they all do a fantastic job but emergencies and problems arise all the time and when I am late I just think that it is a horrible situation we are all in and some people need more time as it is more complex or an emergency comes in who needs to be dealt with urgently! So I don't let it bother me how late I am, I am just thankful I am being seen by some great professionals.
So a big Thank you to you all! Also to the nurses, assistants, cleaners etc! Thankyou! I would not be here today without the excellent care of you all!
"Thankyou!"
