My relative attended A&E at the Royal Free Hospital last night (a Monday). The care she received was good, but the room she was seen in was dirty - dusty skirting boards, dirty stains on the walls. A year ago I attended A&E at an inner city hospital (not in London) on a busy Friday night - the room I was seen in was spotless. Why was the Royal Free A&E dirty?
