"Mammography"

I attended for a mammogram yesterday and was disappointed with the attitude of both the receptionist and the nurse that did the mammogram. On arrival the receptionist never had eye contact with me just asked my name, date of birth and address then said sit in the waiting room. I must admit that I went in for my appointment early, but the nurse did not introduce themselves, was very blunt in what they wanted me to do. This procedure is not comfortable for anyone and many that have it are worrying whether they have breast cancer or not. This was not my first mammogram, on previous appointments the staff were all very friendly putting you at ease. I had to have a Dexa scan about 3 weeks ago and the staff there were just the opposite they were very friendly and put you at ease straight away.
