"Good experience of maternity care ay Liverpool Womens"

About: Liverpool Womens Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had my son at the women's and thought that it was a very good hospital. I gave birth in the pool which I highly recommend, very softly lit which makes a change from the usual delivery room. The midwives did differ, we either got one who was very friendly or one who was a bit rude! One morning I was in bed asleep, was about 5am and one midwife just walked in and turned on the light. I had been up all night with my baby and had only just gotten him off, she said it was breakfast time but didnt actually get any food until 8am, Breakfast was cereal and toast with tea, never asked if I wanted coffee! lunch usually a sandwich and soup and dinner was something hot like cottage pie. Its not the best food in the world but its ok, just make sure your visitors bring in some nice goodies for you!!

Overall, my experience in the hospital was very good and would have no trouble recommending it to others
