My son was admitted on Monday 9th November to ward F11 ,with a very rare skin complaint and very high fever,on taking his details he informed them of his allergies ie eggs and nuts which were written on his notes.and was given a red wrist band, dinner arrived on Tuesday on asking the nurse was there egg in it the reply was don't know on asking the sister same answer,so all they could provide was a dollop of mash and beans. his notes were not checked and the red band is quiet visible, this morning nurse came to change bed and asked what nationally he was as he does not look English .my son i ,so what is British? ,on looking at his skin, their remarks were Urhh i better get some gloves.

it was very unprofessional and hurtful my son is very conscious of his appearance,, first medication arrived Tuesday night 12 midnight,it is not present been in Hospital at any time ,but at least read notes and show respect,Conserned Mother
