"Five star service in the Emergency Department"

I was seen in the Emergency Department today after hurting my back.

The staff were warm, friendly and utterly brilliant.

Both the doctor and the nurse I saw couldn't have been more helpful or empathetic. I completely recognise the pressure faced by A&E departments, and want to say a big thank you to the ED team.

They work so hard and still manage to deliver exceptional care in challenging circumstances.

I would also like to thank the volunteer who made me a cup of tea while I waited.

They were offering drinks to patients in all of the cubicles - and it's these small things that make a real difference.
