"Couldn't fault it"

About: Lister Hospital

My daughter was advised to attend A&E at lister hospital by 111 service. We were seen by a triage nurse as soon as we walked in. We then had to wait for four and a half hours to see a doctor. The doctor then wanted blood tests which took another two hours. By the time we got to the ward, we were all shattered. The staff in the A&E and the staff in the SAU were absolutely fantastic. We couldn't have asked for any better. One member of staff was especially wonderful and supplied us with coffee and biscuits to keep us going. Everyone was run off their feet but they still had time to make you feel comfortable. Top marks to the whole team.

Thank you so much for your kind words (and apologies that you had some lengthy waits whilst with us).

We'll make sure the teams involved get to see you comments, and know they'll be very pleased to hear that their hard work is appreciated.

Meanwhile, we wish you and your daughter well.
