About: Auchinleck Community and Resource Centre

(as a service user),

I’ve been coming to the centre for around one year. I didn’t think I would like it, for the first 2 or 3 months I wasn’t sure I would keep coming but it has grown on me. I am quite satisfied with the routine of it all.

-A lot of thought was put into the new building; it has lovely rooms and you don’t feel claustrophobic.

-It’s nice to get a good lunch

-I like the people that run the centre

-The crosswords keep my brain ticking over

-I’ve met people I used to know

I’ve never been asked about coming a second day although I know some other people come two days. It would be good to have that option. I don’t have family around and some people who come 2 days do have lots of family.
