"Would of been perfect"

I had my section on 23rd October it was lovely I would of given 5* about staff working together it really made me sad when one of the HCA's said they were gonna take my catheter out but was called away to take someone to xray another one removed my catheter whilst they were with me they said to me sorry for the other hcas mood they were well known on the ward has being miserable this really upset me as the other HCA had been really good with me even changing everything for me through the night and showed me how to care for my baby putting me at ease as it as my 1st baby the second time I got upset was in the day after 2 hcas were cleaning a bed when they were both talking about the HCA that had been on that saying they could understand why no one liked them one even said they should get rid of them and give me the job it was really sad everything else was just perfect

Thank you for posting your feedback on NHS Choices. I am concerned to hear that you did not experience the level of professionalism which I expect on the Maternity Ward.

As I do not know to whom you refer,

I have spoken to all staff and reminded them that, as part of a successful working team, it is essential they behave in a respectful manner towards patients and their colleagues at all times.

I have also informed all members of staff of your posting and I will continue to closely monitor behaviour in future. The maternity ward staff continually strive to provide the highest standard of care possible and so I am delighted to read you were happy with your experience overall in describing everything else as ‘just perfect’.
