"Excellent service. with friendly and competent..."

I have attended this department since 2011 for a number of eye conditions including cataract surgery, laser treatment and glaucoma. The staff have always been friendly and down to earth, even though it is a very busy department. I was recently seen by two Consultants who took lots of time to explain to me what was happening with my vision, and how they would treat me. They were honest and spoke in non medical language, and let me ask lots of questions. I did not feel rushed.

I was given an emergency appointment at short notice to monitor my condition.

The nurse was extremely kind, and offered their advice during my consultation. I was pleased that the consultant welcomed their input, and acted on it.This department obviously works successfully as a team - and patients benefit hugely.
