"The best treatment ever"

I went into The Park for knee replacement. On 24th April ,after 10 years of suffering .My treatment was the very best , my room was private and clean and cosy . At every step of my time prior to my op ,l was with some one who gave me great confidence ,and reassurance specially one nurse, my flower in pre op.l was feeling really anxious at this time ,as l hate needles . With their help and the skill of my consultant. The consultant was amazing ,my spinal injection was done with no tears at all ,plus we had a giggle as well . Job done but all relaxed ,l was wheeled into theatre .l wasn't given a general ,and a did open my eyes when the surgeon was hammering in my new knee . But l felt nothing, they told me to go back to sleep ,and the other consultant gave me reassurance ,so back to sleep l went .l was in twilight somewhere it was fantastic.

The care l received from every member of staff ,was A star ,the very best . Nothing as to much trouble for anyone . A big plus for me , having a quiet room to rest and recover with en suite facilities . I do recommend The Park to everyone . It was good to be a person and not just number ,on a main ward in a large hospital ,there is very little privacy ,and lots of noise ,night and day . I thank God for everyone who looked after me . Most all my consultant, they have given me my life back ,l thank God for their knowledge and steady hands ,they are very tiny hands ,but well trained . They are an amazing person ,my best friend now . Thankyou to all at The Park ,your the best .. Joan leckie.
