Everyone was lovely, kind beyond what I might have expected. So thank you one and all.

The admin/communication between staff was somewhat lacking however: I wasn’t expecting to be admitted as an in-patient, and the ward wasn’t expecting me as an in-patient either for a pre-procedure briefing,

The pre-colonoscopy leaflet could have been a bit more detailed regarding the effects of the laxatives. E. g. make It clear that pads are available, for the uninitiated it came as a shock
