had to wait over a year for an appointment, my appointment was cancelled twice. when i attended my appointment which was with the consultant (what it stated on my appointment letter) turned out to be with a nurse, only when i showed them my letter and said was going to make a complaint the consultant said they would see me.
They saw me for 5 minutes, did not even sit down. i do understand they are busy, we all are, we all work. the service/treatment i received was very poor, i did not feel my issues were addressed, i felt like i was putting them out...
i got better support/infomation/advise from my GP! i was referred to the Royal London Epilepsey clinic because they were the experts! that is not the impression i got.
this hospital has a brand new flashy building, the service has gone down hill, i would much rather have the old building with staff that cared.
