About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

After visiting out patient s department I needed to book an other appointment, as I was leaning on the reception area, I was asked if aI was booking an appointment I would have to join the queue as they were the only one on the desk. Queue was out the door and down the corridor, it would be a problem for me to stand any length of time.

Since the self booking in systems was introduced, staff are not needed. So if the have the booking in system maybe the should have a booking out system then they would have no need for any reception staff.
