My wife recently gave birth a Lancaster Royal Infirmary at a time when maternity services were being criticised in the media.
We had no complaints and received an exceptionally good level of care from the maternity unit.
They were obviously understaffed and under pressure but the professialism and dedication of the staff was never in doubt.
