"Admission to ward 14 Monday 14 th September"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

I cannot begin to say how impressed I was with the staff, both medical and ancillary when I was admitted here last Monday night. They were competent, and empathetic at all times. I felt that I was looked after really well as a person and not just a 'bed'.

I was subsequently moved to ward 51 where again I had the same wonderful treatment.

The nurses all work extremely hard and have tricky patients and situations to cope with. Never did they look anything but cool calm and collected.

I should like to thank everyone at the hospital for looking after me so well.
