"A Gash on the Head!"

I visited the Minor Injuries department yesterday morning following a fall at home which resulted in a cut to my forehead.

I was seen very quickly and due to the depth of the wound was referred to a Plastic Surgery department and chose Broomfield.

I want to thank the staff at Herts & Essex for their efficiency and kindness.

Billericay ward at Broomfield were waiting for me and I was seen and treated very quickly.

This was the NHS at it's very best.
