"Rough treatment by some of the night staff"

About: Lings Bar Hospital

Well first I must say how grateful for Lings Bar for the wonderful service which was given to me, the staff are caring and wonderful also if there is anything wrong with you the staff and doctors are on the scene straight away.

But I must confess a couple of night staff (who I think were agency staff) were not very nice to a some of the patients who was vulnerable and weren't treated properly which I found very distressing for me to see and hear which I think was bang out of order as people are in the this hospital to get better, not to be shouted at and roughly treated.

I had reported this problem before to staff nurses - but this must be looked into. I myself was a carer for 17 years and I have had the experience in that areas, otherwise I do recommend Lings Bar for the care which was given to me for 2 months stay. I will write to the Post to tell people out there how this hospital progress, excuse my writing but I am struggling with my right hand as it was broken with my left arm and broken leg.

I'm really pleased that you found the majority of your stay and care at Lings Bar to be of a high standard.

I am grateful to you for bringing to our attention the attitude displayed by certain members of the night staff. We take any patient experience of unacceptable care very seriously.

Please be assured we will undertake a full investigation and will take any necessary steps to prevent this reoccuring
