"Out Patient Appointments failing patients once..."

Appointment July 2014 saw registrar which I was happy with come back in 3 months! We now on sept 2015 phoned appointment's we are really sorry but your consultant has a very long list ! Nothing we can do so I phoned consultant secretary well if it's over 12 months you will at to go back and see your own gp for another referral ! Before I could ask any questions the phone goes down! How do I feel really let down been a patient of same orthopedic specialist for 17 years ! How can a hospital treat there patients like this if not been seen in 12 months throw them on the scrap heap! Some of the staff of this hospital really need to go to charm school ! Because at times we are treated at second rated citizens ! If a specialist has too many patients is that our fault no ! why can't we be transferred to a different specialist ? When your in pain and suffering you expect the help to be there but that's not always the case the experience I've witnessed in the last 3/4 years !
