"Basic care not met"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Patients waiting ages for the toilet and being ignored. Patient waited 30 mins for call to be answered, and no one came, I had to step in and get a nurse. Not enough commodes for patients.

Call button put out of reach, so my family member could not call for help at all.

One patient was clearly in distress crying and asking for help.

When I called the nurse I was told to ignore the patient as they were confused and doesn't need the toilet, they have a catheter!

Sent to a&e at 10pm friday night but was given no food until 6pm the following day!!!!

Drink out of reach in a&E but she went in and was put on a drip because she was dehydrated, then drip was removed and drink was put out of reach!!

No one can make a decision, keep getting told its down to OT/Social services/physio/metal health!
