"Patient time is valuable as well!"

(as the patient),

Have had 2 lots of sessions over last few year - my wife 3 years ago and myself currently.

Our appointments have always been for about 9am or 2pm and we always arrive to find a room full of patients and then have to wait 2-3 hours. Our impression is that everyone has the same morning or afternoon appointments time - hence the long waiting times.

Whilst I appreciate that staff ( doctors & nurses ) time is valuable so they should not have to wait for patients, this system of ensuring a ready supply of patents seems excessive in the extreme. Patient time is valuable as well!

We are sorry the level of care has fallen below the standard we expect. We are reviewing all the processes for patients attending for appointments at the hosptial to improve the service our patients receive. Many thanks and I will ensure your comments are considered as part of the improvements.
