"I went to A and E at around 7.30 ..."

About: Warrington Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I went to A and E at around 7.30 am, very quiet, which meant very I was seen quickly. The staff at A and E were good, moving people on quickly to be seen. Staff at Minor and staff at Major Injuries Wards were friendly, good at the job kept the wards clean.

What could be improved

The communication always lets them down. I never mind waiting around if staff let me know why. But after 30 mins waiting we asked why, and they said they were just waiting for the doctor to finish then id be next in line. All was fine. If they just tell people whats going on less people would complain.

Anything else?

The staff were great, very friendly and fast hard workers, all new what they were talking about, communicated with each other so they all new what part of the process I was at. The doctor said we could go home and wait for the blood test results instead of the hospital and she rang us up. I found this good. I went on Saturday 29th August 09, and all the staff in the morning shift 7.30 until 9.30 were great! And the pharmacy was a lot better than I remembered. The hospital seems to have improved a lot, thought I should leave a good comment as I only ever seem to write to people to complain but the A and E department /Minor and Major Wards need rewarding. good hospital.
