"Hernia op and neck cancer treatment ."

About: Pilgrim Hospital

When my GP noticed I had an hernia in my belly button, they got me in quick .I have no problems or issues with any staff member ,top class .My op went well though I was a little scared I must admit ,all the people involved were very calming and very professional in what they were doing .I was informed what to do after the op and any problems to come back . I found the Pilgrim to be clean ,and also the food nice ,top class . Recently I had a small problem with neck cancer ,but the member of staff who dealt with it knew exactly what it was and dealt with it ,and now it's clear . I would like to say to all the moaners ,that this is a hospital ,not an hotel ,and the staff do care ,but we are not the only patients ,and they do a good job ,thank god we have an NHS . The Staff do a fantastic job under pressure .Also my wife just informed me she had treatment in the breast clinic ,she said the staff were very good polite and professional ,what more can I say . Top marks on our treatment ,from start to Finnish .

Paul ,and Julie.

Dear Paul,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your comments. It is very pleasing to hear that your experiences, and those of your wife, were so positive, across three separate, and very different, episodes of care.

Part of our vision is to provide consistently excellent care for the people of Lincolnshire and feedback such as yours helps us to measure how we are doing in seeking to achieve that vision.

I am especially pleased that in each instance the staff you met displayed professionalism, and a caring and compassionate attitude, all things we believe lead to a better experience for our patients.

I will make sure your kind comments are passed on to each of the teams involved.

Thank you once again.
