"My Review of the Regional Rehab Unit for Brain..."

About: Northwick Park Hospital

My husband has spent 5 months here following a massive stroke. What a wonderful unit.

Each and every member of staff is professional, caring, happy, willing, friendly and compassionate.

Nothing is too much trouble.

I have never met such dedicated nurses and physios.

They have gone above and beyond to ensure that their patients settle in well and are happy and very well looked after.

I feel blessed that my husband was sent here.

He couldn't do anything at all when he arrived.

He is now talking, eating (independently) and although has no feeling down his right side is now able to walk a short distance with a quad stick.

My husband has felt happy and safe here at all times.

Thank you to each and everyone of you at the RRU (Level 6) - you are outstanding.

Special thanks to all the team.

Dear Madam

Thank you very much for taking the time to let us know about your husband and the care he has received from members of the Regional Rehab Unit team.

It was very pleasing to learn of the progress he has made since his admission to the unit and I hope that he continues to receive such good care for the duration of his stay.

Your kind words really are very much appreciated and we will ensure that they are passed on and shared with the RRU team.

Kind regards

Patient Relations Team
