"Unacceptable patient journey through Orthopaedics"

Disappointed that yet again I am having to raise serious concern about my care at Raigmore, 2 yrs to receive a full diagnosis, and then only to be confirmed after being referred to another Consultant from out with the area.

Totally unacceptable delays, cancelled appointments, and lack of communication, if it was not my GP constantly having to chase up information, reports and referrals I would not have even received the above appointment.

When ever I have received treatment throughout that time I have been treated very well by all staff, the issue is not with any Dr or Nurses, but in the way Orthopaedics in my opinion is being managed.

I had complained previously in April 2014, which resulted in a flurry of activity, only to resume the same pattern.

I will be following this up with a written complaint, as I would not wish anyone else to be treated in the same manner.
