What I liked
I had a baby at this hospital. In general the care was very good, but chaotic. Most midwives were excellent, but one of them was very patronising and unhelpful and just fobbed off any request. The anesthethists were all incredibly friendly. The staff on the ward were also helpful in general, with a few exceptions.
What could be improved
Better organisation would go a long way. On the ward, a lot of staff comes and goes and you never know which is the nurse, midwife etc who will come next and whom to ask for what as you are occasionally told off if you ask the wrong person. At night the staff are very noisy and leave all doors open, making it almost impossible to sleep.
Anything else?
Overall I think that staff are very good and a bit more organisation would make this an excellent hospital.
