"Had an appointment to see a consultant."

After sitting and waiting for 45 minutes having taken an afternoon off work I was informed that the consultant had not turned up. Was assured that I would get a call to rearrange the appointment. No call received and I've tried calling the appointment line over a dozen times and left messages to no avail!

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your unfortunate experience at Park Hill Hospital. Regrettably due to unforseen circumstances the consultant was unavailable to attend his clinic and I am sorry that you are not satisified with the performance of the outpatient department. I have scheduled a meeting with the Bookings and Reception Team Leader to discuss your comments. I am particulary concerned about the delay in responding to your calls, the hospital has a firm committment to deliver excellent customer service to all our customers. and to respond to all messages in a timely manner.
