What I liked

I was taken to A&E in an ambulance as I could not breathe. I was seen promptly and my condition monitored regularly. I feel that staff did their best to investigate that I was stable before I was discharged.

What could be improved

I am disappointed that now just over 2 weeks later no notes have been received by my GP in Brighton about my emergency care. This attack happened very suddenly and I am quite anxious to explore just what triggered it and I am sure that having my patient notes from this encounter would help!

Thank you for your kind comments regarding our emergency department team. We will certainly pass on your feedback.

We are sorry that your GP did not receive an update of your attendance to the emergency department. We have systems in place that should ensure that this happens for all patients however; this may fail is if we unable to obtain details or if GP details are noted down incorrectly when a patient is booked into the Emergency Department.
