"10 weeks after a liver biopsy & still no follow up..."

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

I was first seen by a Consultant in the Gastro team in Aug. 2014, who then went on maternity leave. After a chasing letter I was informed of this and had a consultation with a Registrar. There followed various CT & US Scans, the last being a liver biopsy on May 8th 2015. To date I'm still awaiting information from all the tests, but seem no further forward. 10 years ago I was treated for UC and after repeat episodes we opted for the selective surgery route. What has resulted in such a massive decline in service in the past 10 years is astonishing !!
