What amazing teams that were working in A & E from 4am until 7.30am then the second shift that came on from 7.30am on the 23rd July 2015. My Son is 27 and went in with Pains in his back and tummy. He was seen very quickly and was checked over by A & E, surgical, and Orthopedic. We were is around 9 hours and they tested him for everything. He even had a MRI scan to make sure he was ok to leave. What an amazing team and thank you for taking care of him so wonderfully. It may sound as if we were waiting around for 9 hours but we wasn't things were going on all the time and different teams came down to do their checks. They informed us of everything all the time. Even the porter and cleaner were charming. I do notice quite a lot when I was in there as I work with the elderly so was keen to find out how they treat the elderly. The nurses were so kind to the elderly patients that came in alone and scared they all tried to reasure them all everything was ok and had a little laugh with them along the way. There was also a patient that become quite abbusive and the secruity and nurses managered to control the situation and clamed the lady down. I saw a lot in A & E yesterday morning they made me proud of our NHS. Thanks you all your amazing. Keep it up take care of us and all our families please.
