I was really impressed with my experience at the mobile breast-screening unit in Bracknell yesterday. The unit was immaculately clean and tidy; the member of staff who dealt with me was very professional and polite, and I was seen in a very timely fashion. The actual mammogram wasn’t even uncomfortable – I’d heard dismal things from other people, but that wasn’t my experience. I really hope I won’t need to be back there for another three years, but credit where credit’s due.
