"Lovely people who know their job."

Been a busy month for me at L&D! Got some scary symptoms, and after visiting Doc finished up on cancer screening within 2 weeks. That's enough to knock the wind out of your sails. Went first to Urology Diagnosis Unit which despite still being in temporary accommodation was well decorated, and all the people working there were really lovely. It was not nice to think of the procedure, and they knew it and kept my spirits up. By the way they treated me at every stage, it was obvious that my dignity and welfare was paramount in their minds. (Met a man in the waiting room who had his life saved by the same team) Later that week went to the superb CT Scanning unit in the main building. Obviously very new decor, and beautiful scanner, and the team again were absolutely delightful. Still waiting for results but I know that whatever came of it, I would be in good hands.
