"Long wait for treatment"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I have been waiting to see orthopaedics since the middle of March 2015 and for last month my pain increase from 60% to 99% and I rushed to the hospital twice in this period of time. My pain is so much worse now it takes me a half an hour and crying to do my toilet. I eat less food just to avoid toilet. I can't sit more than 20 seconds. I had one hours sleep last night because of the pain. I can't walk more than two metres. I will be honest with you I tried to suicide couple of days ago because sometimes I feel people don't believe how much I'm in pain because when I go to emergency they say they cannot do anything for me. My doctor changed the tablet for me a few times but it makes me worse. The doctor I saw in the emergency dept tried to bring my appointment forward, but unfortunately it didn't work and I think I'm getting worried about I maybe need another MRI scan because I have been wilting more than four months and my lower back problem is much much worse. Now they even refuse me to have patient transport services. I told them I can't walk I can sit in the taxi. My friend is getting treatment about dialysis at Washington hospital. They provide him with patient transport service and he can even drive his own car. He wasn't happy at Sunderland hospital. I've always been a good citizen for the city for that reason. I wrote my complaint and I hope things are changing for the better soon. Thank you.
