"Emergency pacemaker"

About: Royal Papworth Hospital (Papworth Everard)

My husband was taken ill a month ago,he had complete heart block, pulse of only 30,then decreasing to a low of 19. The ambulance crew that attended were wonderful, and after a blue light dash to Addenbrookes, followed by the same to Papworth,he was taken to Varrier Jones and a pacemaker was quickly inserted. The hospital and all the staff gave excellent care, there is no aspect of this hospital that can be faulted. All in all I can only thank everyone involved in his care, also they looked after me and our relatives,I was able to stay in the hospital with him which was very much appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending this hospital most highly. Thank you everyone so much Mrs C Snell
