"Excellent staff support"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital

(as the patient),

I had attended for a MRI scan and had taken a panic attack and could not continue. A subsequent appointment was made for a couple of weeks later. When I went for my new appointment, the same nurse was on duty. She was so supportive and easily put me at ease considering my still highly anxious state. She volunteered to stay with me throughout the procedure.

Without her supporting hand and reassurance I would never have been able to go through with the procedure once again. What an amazing nurse and a credit to the profession. I do hope she recognises who she is.

Dear Weebear

Thank you for sharing your recent experience of attending the Golden Jubilee National Hospital and for your kind comments about a member of our staff.

Coming into hospital for any reason can be a scary experience. We are sorry to hear that you had a panic attack during your first visit, but we are glad to hear that you were able to go ahead with your scan second time around.

We think our staff do an excellent job, so it is great to hear that the support you received meant so much to you. We will make sure that your comments are passed on to the member of staff involved.

Best wishes from all here at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital.
