What I liked
I arrived by air ambulance with a PE, was promptly seen in the emergency coronary unit, ecg and scan identified PE, rapid administration of thrombolis cleared the clot. Both Intensive care and cardiac Intensive care visited me in anticipation of a bed becoming available, transfered to Cardiac intensive care and later Kilverstone ward, throughout my care the staff were polite caring and efficient, food was hot and good with regular cups of tea, wards regularly cleaned. On discharge (fully cured) I had a number of check ups which were reasonably on time, overall I rate my treatment as excellent, I have moved to Norfolk from South London, I do not beleive I would have survived if the PE had occured in London!!! Many Thanks to all the staff.

Dear Sir
I would like to thank Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital for recent treatment which saved my life, a sudden bout of extreme short breath indicated a potentially life threatening massive Pulmonary Embolism.
Thank you the Paramedic who identified my problem, Thank you the crew of Angel two, the air ambulance, who flew me to Hospital, Thank you the emergency Cardiac Unit who confirmed the diagnosis and administered powerful clot busting drugs, Thank you Cardiac intensive care unit and Kilverstone Ward who returned me to good health, especially the nurses, who took such good care of me, also the catering staff whose visits with tea and food were so welcome.
Lastly the biggest thank you of all: to all the staff of Norfolk & Norwich who helped to save my life, may you have a very happy Christmas one and all.
