"Impressed by responsive care from NHS staff"

About: Warwick Hospital / Urology

(as a relative),

I saw my GP about a urological problem I had. He showed me his "screen" which indicated I should be fast tracked because of my condition.

Within a week I had an appointment with a nurse in the Urological Dept in Warwick Hospital. This hospital seems to be HUGE and is a complete warren! The person at reception took the trouble to personally take me to the right area - with a smile.

The queues were long in the various units to which I would need to go. The Nurse used all her influence and knowledge of colleagues to squeeze me in where necessary. I went for further consultation within another week where the staff could not have been kinder or more professional. Further scans were necessary and again that was handled very quickly and efficiently. Again the staff in the hospital in general were ultra helpful and friendly.

This is a small story I know and not very "dramatic", but it does give some idea of the fantastic attention we in this country get from every-day NHS service. Well done!
