After 30 years of avoidance, I needed a blood test. I had (excellent) CBT but was blown away by the phlebotomist who seemed to be the first medical professional to understand such fear. They were gentle, sensitive and had superb distraction skills. A big thank you. You can not know (unless you've had a phobia) what a big dea this was.
