"Raedwald Day Surgery Unit"

Attended the day surgery unit yesterday for a minor operation and was really impressed with facilities and service. From the warm welcome from receptionist to the nursing and surgery staff there was a real feeling of patient care. Unlike some hospital services where the patient seems to be left waiting for hours with no update, the service here is prompt without ever felling rushed. The unit benefits from being in the new landmark Garrett Anderson building but the model is an example of how hospitals should work.
