I was recommended to visit the practice by an ex NHS nurse following a bite from a fly that had, over 48 hours, become inflamed and red and seemed to be spreading. Upon arrival I rang the bell to speak to a member of staff and a nurse opened the door and stared at me - no "how can I help?" or anything. I preceded to tell them it was my arm, to which they stated, in a sharp, disinterested tone, that their was no x-ray exipment on site - this is reasuring as, if I did have a broken arm then they would have very little interest. After explaining my situation and telling them that I had been recommended to visit by an ex nurse they told me that I could wait but it was busy. Throughout the entire conversation they gave the impression that I was clearly wasting their time (even though they thought I could have had a broken arm) and that I should leave. I do not think that they would have treated an older person (I am 21) in anything like the same way. I have never written a review before and am a very calm person but this experience really left me wound up. I hope they don't treat all their patients this way.
"Rude and disinterested."
