From the moment I was re diagnosed with breast cancer after seventeen years in remission I felt I was in caring, compassionate hands. Without exception the staff went to endless trouble to reassure me and discuss the options available. At no time did I feel I was just one more patient in a long line they made me feel special. A difficult time but I can't thank everyone at the Mermaid Centre enough for their kindness, care and expertise. x
