I had a long awaited cholecystectomy yesterday which involved a short stay on the appleby suite. I have to say every member of staff i came into contact with were absolutely brilliant! From the student nurse, hca's, staff nurses, sisters, the anaesthetists and the surgeons, every single person was friendly and helpful, they communicated with me well, checked my understanding of what would be done and put me at ease throughout! After my surgery I was given a sandwich and cup of tea and checked over and tidied up before being given the all clear to go home! I'm now recovering well at home. Thank you all so much! Keep up the good work!!
